A paper from Computer Vision & Image Understanding (CVIU) Department titled “Constructing Secure and Content-dependent Watermarking Scheme Using Homomorphic Encryption” was awarded Student Best Paper in the InternationalConference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME) 2007. Authors were Zhi Li and Yong Lian from ECE/NUS and Zhu Xinglei and Sun Qibin from I²R.

Chai Chin Choy from Modulation & Coding Department, together with his studentWei Cao and co-supervisor, Nallanathan Arumugam from ECE Department, NUS won the Best Student Paper Award in the 2007 IEEE International Conference onUltra-Wideband (ICUWB’2007). The paper is titled “A Novel High Data Rate DSUWB Communication System via Superposition of Chip Waveforms”.
