 | Assistive ICM for Health Monitoring & Rehabilitation (AIM) | | The Programme
In this programme, Infocomm Technologies will be developed for the following applications:Health monitoring, especially for cardiovascular patients Due to life style changes, more and more people suffer from cardiovascular disease (CVD). In developed countries, CVD affects 20% of the populations. We will look into scalable and flexible framework for remote and mobile monitoring for CVD patients. Elderly care, especially home care Aging population will be growing dramatically in the next decades. Elderly care is a significant social issue. We will develop solutions for behaviour and event detection to monitor safety and facilitate their daily living. Rehabilitation for both cognition and sensorimotor We will develop and integrate state-of-the-art technologies to help patients perform rehabilitations. We will work closely with healthcare organizations and caregivers to create value-added services for patients, elderly and healthcare sector.
