| Dr Karthik Nandakumar, a research
fellow at I²R’s Computer Vision & Image
Understanding Department, is one of the three recipients
of the ‘Fitch Beach Outstanding Graduate Research
Award in March 2008.
This annual award is given by the College of Engineering
of the Michigan State University, USA to undergraduate
or graduate students who have enrolled full-time at
Michigan State University College of Engineering. Students
must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrated character,
moral judgement and commitment.
Karthik’s PhD dissertation is titled ‘Multibiometric
Systems: Fusion Strategies and Template Security’.
