The Third International IST Workshop on Terrestrial Wireless
Systems and Networks
December 16 - 17, 2003, Singapore
This workshop has concluded. These pages are maintained as a record and source of information. If you are looking for the proceedings, please look at the programme page (link above).
This workshop is being organized by the Moby Dick project with the aim of providing a special opportunity to present globally relevant results and discuss them in a European and Asia-Pacific dialogue. In the spirit of the previous two ACTS workshops, this IST workshop in Singapore will present a forum on Advanced Terrestrial Wireless Systems and Networks.
The workshop will be held on December 16th and 17th. The schedule features keynote speeches, panel-presentations, and workshop sessions by leading experts on wireless technology and telecommunications services. The Moby Dick project invites experts from research and industry to submit contributions to the panel-presentations and to share in the discussions.
The workshop will also feature an exhibition of current advances in the area. For this purpose we invite proposals for demonstrations of recently concluded or on-going research projects.
An attractive social programme is being prepared, focusing on the cultural diversity and scenic location of Singapore, a fascinating gateway to the Asia-Pacific area.
