Abstract: 
The current flowing along a zero-phase-shift line, (ZPSL) features very little phase lag, so that the ZPSL has been widely utilized to design electrically large loop antennas for ultra-high frequency (UHF) near-field radio frequency identification (RFID) readers. In this paper, the state-of-art ZPSL loop antennas are reviewed and discussed.
